I visited Luigi's with my family and we had a really good time. The food was tasty, especially the dessert. The staff were really helpful and friendly, we had full conversations and they answered all questions we had even just about the restaurant itself. They were very knowledgeable. The inside was quite small but it didn't feel too loud (though to be fair, my family may have been the loudest group), and it definitely didn't feel too squashed. The restaurant is decorated really nicely. Overall we had a really nice evening here and I would definitely recommend it to pasta lovers!
Visited this evening with our dog. Such friendly service and the dog was spoilt with a nice blanket to lay on and lots of treats. The food was delicious and well presented. We did the happy hour deal and both agreed it was the best meal we have had while staying in Ambleside. Would go again if we are every back in the area.
Lovely place with authentic Italian food and great service. The place is dog friendly..and we were sat next to the fireplace which added to the warm feeling. The food was amazing..the sticky toffee pudding was a particular family favourite..surely coming back!
The food was amazing. The risotto is the best I've ever tasted! The staff are utterly lovely and the service was fab. Even allowed us to take in our dogs which was really unexpected. They provide water and blankets for them to lie on. Can't wait to return!
Excellent place to eat, the staff are very knowledgeable and polite making the dining experience an absolute pleasure. Good choice of food and drink available but be aware they don't currently serve pizza. Definitely recommended for couples and groups who like a relaxed and enjoyable place to make memories.
Great place. Staff extremely attentive and helpful and so friendly. Perfect for when you have dogs as they have own seating area for them. A must if in the area. GREAT food also!!

Absolutely beautiful restaurant. We have been coming to Ambleside for years and somehow always missed this place. Very central, the food was better than most places we have eaten in Italy itself. Beautiful food, absolutely amazing service. 100% recommend, it will be the first place we visit every time we come back!
